Children's Social Worker

We are seeking an exceptional Social Worker to join our Safeguarding & Family Support team, Assessment & Intervention team, and Care/Care Leaver services. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with children and their families, providing a clear and accurate assessment of their needs and developing effective plans to support their well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop comprehensive plans to address their requirements.
- Work collaboratively with families, other agencies, and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Develop and implement protection plans, care plans, and pathway plans within a child protection framework.
- Ensure all statutory responsibilities are met, including visiting children, arranging reviews, and reporting to the court.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Social Worker with a strong background in direct social work with children and their families. You will bring:
- A recognised social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.
- Recent post-qualifying experience in the UK in a social work role within a statutory setting, working with children and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
