Job Overview

We are excited to announce a new position for a Quality Assurance Technician within The Thrive Team Limited. This role is integral to our inspection team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring that all products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

As a trusted member of our inspection team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Calibrating and validating monitoring and measuring instruments before use.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to clarify inspection and testing specifications.
  • Assisting the production team with in-process quality checks.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting overall quality performance.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a quality control role within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in manual inspection techniques using tools such as tapes, rules, micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
  • The ability to produce clear and concise inspection reports, working with both metric and imperial measurements.
  • Experience in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and familiarity with Aberlink software and CAD is preferred.
  • Experience with FARO Arm programming (Faro 10 Software with CAD is desirable).
  • Experience with Polyworks software and CAD is advantageous.
  • A willingness to evolve into an off-line programming role as needed.
