Secondary School PE Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our team at a dynamic secondary school in Whitstable, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a love for sports and promote healthy lifestyles among students.
  • Prepare students for internal and external sporting competitions.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievements.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular sports clubs and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and curricula.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for sports and physical education, with a commitment to student development.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
