About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our Public Health Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of public health engineering projects across various sectors, including healthcare and defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the public health design team to prepare scheme and detailed engineering designs for various projects.
  • Develop and implement public health engineering solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in public health engineering.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in public health engineering design and delivery, preferably in a design consultancy or similar environment.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in mixed-use, residential, and commercial building projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit software and Navisworks for drawing reviews.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations.
