CNC Miller Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team in Knaresborough. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce complex, high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set and run CNC Millers
* Undertake tool changes, offsets, and program editing
* Produce components to production deadlines
* Work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards (AS9001 & ISO 13485)

Shift Pattern:

* Rotational shift of earlies and lates
* 6am - 2PM Monday - Thursday, 12.30 finish on Fridays
* 2pm to 12.30am Mon- Wed, 2pm Thurs, Fridays off

Requirements:

* Ideally be apprentice trained and hold a relevant qualification
* Have confident CNC setting and operating experience
* Have experience of producing prototypes and first-offs to drawings
* Ideally have worked in a variety of materials including polymers and metal
* Have experience with modern quality control standards and measurement of parts
* Have experience of working to tight tolerances
* Have the ability to select, set, and change machine tools
* Any experience of 5 Axis or mill turn machines would be of great interest
* Have working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain would be advantageous
* Programming experience is preferred but not essential
