Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of security staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of safety.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee legislative searches and patrols for passengers, vehicles, and port areas, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with customer staff, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Rostering: Handle rostering and ensure all shifts meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: Deliver top-notch customer service to passengers at the port, ensuring a secure and positive experience.
- Reporting: Correctly record, report, and document high-quality reports (verbal and/or written).
- Shift Presence: Achieve and encourage high standards of customer care and provide an effective shift presence.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as determined by the Management Team.
- Right to Work: Hold a valid right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- SIA Licence: Possess an active SIA Licence, specifically a SG licence with a DS or CP designation.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in maritime security.
- Location: Be based within 20 miles of the site.
- Leadership: Have experience in managing, leading, and motivating others.
- Skills: Possess excellent organisational, customer service, and communication skills.
