Exciting Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor Role at Astute People

Astute People is partnering with a dynamic organization focused on sustainable infrastructure solutions, particularly in the areas of substations, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and other renewable energy assets.

We are on the lookout for a proficient Quantity Surveyor to oversee the financial aspects of essential contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Deliver precise updates to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Oversee payments to subcontractors and suppliers
  • Support the preparation of payment applications
  • Identify and report any cost implications
  • Engage in project meetings to discuss progress

Professional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable position
  • Strong technical knowledge of project execution
  • Capability to manage financial budgets effectively

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communicator with collaborative skills
  • Proficient in managing contracts and tenders

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range between £45,000 - £55,000
  • 25 days of annual leave plus Bank holidays
