We are seeking a highly skilled IFRS9 Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team at Randstad Financial & Professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting advice and guidance on IFRS 9 implementation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Accounting Advice: Provide expert technical accounting advice and guidance on IFRS 9 implementation, including developing technical papers and supporting the wider FRC Programme.
  • Financial Modelling: Build and develop Excel spreadsheets to perform accounting and modelling calculations required to identify data gaps, validate systems outputs, and meet Programme requirements.
  • Transition Execution: Support transition execution approach and plan, covering opening balances and comparative financial statements.
  • Audit Support: Support audit engagement requirements and respond to queries.
  • IT Solutions: Support the implementation of FRC-related IT solutions, including the General Ledger, IFRS 9 Calculation Engine, and Sub-Ledgers.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Support testing activity, including ensuring testing issues are resolved on a timely basis.
  • Accounting Rules and Disclosures: Develop and implement Accounting Rules, Chart of Accounts, ledger posting, and IFRS 9 disclosures.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse data inputs/outputs to/from the Calculation Engine and General Ledger, ensuring outputs meet reporting requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders, including the FRC Delivery Partner, Auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
