Plasterer/Multitrade Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer with multi-trade experience to join our Living Space Responsive Team at Wates. As a key member of our team, you will work with one of our major clients, undertaking a range of tasks to achieve first-time fix and deliver high-quality workmanship in a timely and efficient manner. You will provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring a positive experience.
Wates Living Space is a leading provider of planned and responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector, maintaining over 500,000 homes nationwide every year. Our position in the market has enabled us to achieve ambitious strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Having a thorough understanding of, and the ability to work to, industry-accepted Health and Safety standards
Undertaking patch and larger plastering works, decorating, and associated or other minor maintenance tasks utilizing your multi-trade experience
Working alongside colleagues or contractors to complete complex orders
Using a mobile device to receive instructions and to electronically feedback details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken
Liaising with Supervisors/schedulers in a timely manner when works are unable to be completed on a first visit, providing detailed information to allow works to be programmed in
Providing excellent customer service to residents, clients, and colleagues
We are looking for a professional Plasterer with multi-trade experience gained from working in a similar industry and environment. You must be educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and have a clean driving license.
