Probus Recruitment Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to enhance our Procurement & Supply Chain Management team.

This position entails sourcing materials, equipment, subcontracting, and services across various operational units, with an emphasis on utilizing both existing and new framework agreements to promote process efficiency, innovation, and sustainable practices.


Procurement Oversight:
Manage the acquisition of materials, equipment, subcontracting, and service needs across all operational units.

Strategic Sourcing:
Formulate and execute effective strategic sourcing initiatives to support bidding processes, projects, and operational requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that procurement activities adhere to the governance and procurement protocols established by the organization.

Collaborative Engagement:
Collaborate closely with the broader procurement network across the UK and EMEA regions.

Tender Management:
Ensure timely delivery of procurement tenders that meet compliance standards and budgetary constraints. Review and authorize procurement requests from the procurement system.

Category Management:
Lead specific procurement categories, overseeing strategy development, implementation, follow-up, and supplier engagement. Identify and manage the testing and implementation of low carbon solutions on-site.

Policy Compliance:
Adhere to all organizational and Group policies, including ethical standards. Report on individual procurement activities and performance metrics against departmental KPIs.
Possess a Bachelor's degree and/or professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., familiarity with Procurement ERP systems such as COUPA, SAP, Oracle).

  • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of low carbon solutions and sustainable procurement practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
