Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Assistant/Driver to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our linen service team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laundry services to our patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Laundry Supervisor in maintaining a comprehensive linen service, ensuring timely delivery and collection of laundry.
  • Operate a laundry vehicle, transporting linen and equipment as required.
  • Participate in the sorting, washing, drying, and folding of laundry, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with the laundry team to achieve efficient and effective laundry operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in laundry or a related field is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Hold a valid full driving license.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
