Data Centre Shift Engineer - Stott and May

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Shift Engineer to join our team at Stott and May. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll play a key role in maintaining the electrical and mechanical systems of our data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and perform small lighting installations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot control panels and replace ballast in lighting systems.
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), including hot and cold readings.
  • Perform M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) tasks, including servicing pumps and motors.
  • Keep detailed records and maintain log books.
  • Address basic plumbing issues and perform water treatment tasks.
  • Maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs).

Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical certification.
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled across various aspects of M&E maintenance.
  • Data Centre/critical Infrastructure experience.
