We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Waste Management Operative. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient collection and recycling of household waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the public with household waste recycling and provide excellent customer service
  • Manual handling and loading recyclable items into correct bins
  • Perform banksman duties to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

  • Must be prepared to work outside in all weathers and be on your feet for long periods
  • Must be physically capable of undertaking required duties
  • Good customer service and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Own transport is recommended due to the company location

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary, ongoing position with an immediate start. The working hours are 9.45am - 6.15pm, with a 4 on 4 off rota, Monday - Sunday.

Salary:

The hourly rate for this position is £12.00 per hour.
