We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Facilities Team Leader to join our Radiology Department at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and services.
Key Responsibilities- Deputise for the CT Lead Radiographer and assume responsibility for the management of the CT department in their absence.
- Work closely with other modality leads and deputies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Attend meetings in the absence of the modality lead and provide updates on departmental activities.
- Promote patient safety and governance by adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
- Maintain and improve the quality of service by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Perform staff appraisals and provide constructive feedback to ensure employee growth and development.
- Daily operational management of CT sites, including managing sickness absence and working closely with HR.
- Assist with capacity and demand planning to ensure efficient use of resources.

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography.
- Leadership skills and experience in a similar role.
Desirable Qualifications
- Postgraduate education in a relevant field.
Knowledge and Skills
- Evidence of training in all MR or CT techniques.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and radiation protection protocols.
- Ability to work at a high level and demonstrate leadership and organisational skills.
