About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of Security Officers to ensure the effective delivery of security services.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
  • Provide training and guidance to Security Officers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and report on security incidents and trends to inform security strategy and policy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a security management role, preferably in a government or defence sector.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
