About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Manager to join our team at BSRIA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our market intelligence business, driving growth, and delivering excellence to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Market Intelligence Business: Oversee the development and implementation of our market intelligence strategy, aligning with our company's objectives, mission, and values.
  • Deliver High-Quality Research: Develop and deliver top-quality research to grow our market intelligence portfolio, increase profitability, and expand our reputation.
  • Provide Vision and Leadership: Set commercial and financial targets, develop an operational plan, and implement the agreed strategy.
  • Manage Budgetary Responsibilities: Manage budgetary responsibilities (P&L) for our market intelligence business, including overseas operations.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient internal processes and effective interaction with other internal entities.
  • Maintain Market Research Standards: Maintain excellence in market research standards, ensuring quality, validity, and reliability.
  • Explore Business Development Opportunities: Explore opportunities for business development, including new products and services.
  • Represent the Organisation: Represent our organisation at events, exhibitions, and conferences, with international travel as required.
Requirements
  • Extensive Business Experience: Extensive business experience, including financial literacy, strong communication, and leadership skills.
  • Research Methodologies: In-depth knowledge and experience with research methodologies and their applications.
  • Data Analysis: Proficient at generating, managing, and analysing data.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Advanced interpersonal skills across societal and business boundaries.
  • Cultural Competence: Capable of working with international teams across various geographies and cultures.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient at using a variety of software packages.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction and HVAC industry is a plus.
  • Education: A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
