Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team at Reliable Recruit (Services) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering furniture to clients in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, working with other drivers or drivers' mates, unloading vehicles at each drop, and assisting with taking furniture into customers' premises and laying out to a site plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of furniture to clients in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
  • Working with other drivers or drivers' mates
  • Unloading vehicles at each drop
  • Assisting with taking furniture into customers' premises and laying out to a site plan
  • Performing basic assembly duties where needed
  • Heavy lifting
Working Hours and Pay:

The working times and pay are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 03:00-04:00 starts
  • £13.00 p/h initially, reviewed at 3 months for potential increase
  • Weekend work on very rare occasions
  • Overtime paid at x 1.25 over 40 hours and any weekend work x 1.5
Requirements:
  • 7.5 Tonne (CAT C1) Licence
  • CPC
  • Digi-Tacho
  • No more than 6 points due to insurance purposes
  • Candidates need to be physically fit due to the nature of the role and the goods
