Senior Estimator/Design Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator/Design Technician to join our team at ACS Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and completing large Multi Utility quotes in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing asset plans of existing utilities and developers' technical drawings
  • Reviewing Electricity Point of connection plans and offer letters
  • Reviewing Water terms and plans
  • Completing Water, Gas and Electricity network studies using Windebut & Gas Works
  • Producing Multi Utility cost models and proposal letters
  • Taking ownership of large/multi phase development
  • Reviewing and producing re-quotes and variations according to Developer requests
  • Providing regular updates to the Tendering Manager and Business Development Managers
Requirements:
  • Previous estimating experience with the ability to estimate on your own and train others
  • Understanding of Microsoft office packages including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Good timekeeping, organised, accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Able to work as a team but also work off of your own initiative
