Position Overview
This is a part-time position, comprising 30 hours per week across 39 weeks annually. We are seeking 4 Student Support Facilitators to enhance our educational environment. Your main role will involve assisting students with Educational Health Care Plans at our institution. This includes providing support within the classroom, addressing personal care requirements, and collaborating with local authorities to promote positive outcomes for students facing challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-class and off-site assistance
- Support students with diverse needs, including those who use wheelchairs and have sensory challenges
- Engage in the planning and evaluation of educational activities
- Assist students with significant requirements
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues and students
- Help during emergency evacuations
- Keep precise records of student progress
