At Canby School District, we are a collective of dedicated and passionate educators, professionals, students, and families committed to fostering growth for everyone involved.

Serving a diverse population of 4,200 students with a team of 600 staff members across nine educational facilities, we blend the charm of rural life with the advantages of suburban access.

We are currently seeking a qualified speech and language pathologist for a full-time, permanent role. Candidates must possess a valid Speech Language Pathologist license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Our speech and language pathologists enjoy an annual stipend of $2,500 and are compensated according to the MA+42 salary column. Additionally, we are excited to offer a one-time signing bonus of $3,500 for new hires who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • National Board Certification (including ASHA): $1,000
  • Doctorate Degree: $1,000
  • Compensation for Nurses, OTs, PTs, School Psychologists, and SLPs: $2,500
  • Monthly district contribution of $1,504 for medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unused funds from licensed insurance can lower out-of-pocket expenses
  • Monthly stipend for opting out of coverage
  • Opportunity to enroll in a high-deductible HSA-eligible plan with district contributions
  • 10 paid sick days annually
  • 5 paid personal days per year, with payout for up to three unused days
  • 3 paid IEP workload relief days each year
  • Minimum of 70 minutes of daily protected preparation time
  • Per diem payment for lost prep time due to student meetings
  • Flexibility to work remotely on grading days and non-student work days
  • Up to 12 quarter credits available at the Portland State University rate
