Job Description

  1. Lead Financial Reporting Team

Lead a team of four in delivering timely and accurate monthly financial reports, ensuring seamless submission.

Financial Close Process Oversight

Oversee the monthly financial close process, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing financial results to inform strategic decision-making.

Statutory Financial Reporting

Manage all facets of statutory financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements for nine companies and group consolidation.

Internal Control Environment

Ensure a robust internal control environment by conducting thorough reviews of all financial statements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

Annual Financial Statements and Audit

Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and manage the external audit process, including drafting technical accounting papers to address complex issues.

Commercial Financial Analysis

Conduct commercial financial analyses and manage special projects to support business case development across the division, providing financial guidance to business leaders for strategic decision-making.

Business Profitability and Performance

Develop and implement strategies to enhance business profitability and performance, including providing financial guidance to business leaders for strategic decision-making.

Financial Regulations and Compliance

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory laws, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Process Improvement

Identify and drive improvements in existing systems, processes, internal controls, and reporting, ensuring all finance-related activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Technical Support and Auditing

Provide technical support for the implementation of accounting standards and address related queries, collaborating proactively with auditors to resolve complex accounting issues and challenges.

Financial Management

Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit card processing, banking, cash flow, project finance, and other duties essential to the role.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, with the desire to lead a team within a growing, global tech company. A background within external audit is highly advantageous.
