Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our Distribution Division at Maritime Transport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of HGV vehicles, including curtain-side and gen-set units, to transport goods across the UK
  • Manage daily routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery operations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

  • Average weekly earnings of £900, with potential to exceed £1,000+
  • Hourly pay ranging from £14 to £18, including meal allowance
  • Overtime pay rates of £16.80 or £21.00 for days, £21.00 or £26.25 for nights
