We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Priory Group. As a critical member of our ward team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses to assess, plan, and implement patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care according to individual care plans.
  • Proactively interact and engage with patients, supporting them in their day-to-day activities.
  • Utilize well-developed observational and listening skills to monitor the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of patients.
  • Liaise with staff, family members, and visitors, ensuring strict confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ 1 or GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
  • Completed the Care Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a similar environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for regular interaction and information exchange.
  • Basic IT literacy.
  • Understanding of the need for strict confidentiality.
