We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at Holt Recruitment Ltd. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of £44,000 per annum, with 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and legal standards.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOTs and conduct thorough inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic is preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and certification.
  • A Class 1 driving license is desirable but not essential.
