About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sanctuary Care. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of housekeeping assistants to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping assistants to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient service
  • Provide training and support to housekeeping assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively
Requirements
  • Previous experience of providing housekeeping services in a care home or similar setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of infection control and cleaning procedures
