About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to join our team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Neuro Rehabilitation Services, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and direction to our team, including supervision of the Neurological Rehabilitation inpatient Unit and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in providing leadership and direction to the Neuro Rehabilitation Services and Yorkshire Regional Spinal Injuries Centre.
  • Promote a close working relationship between all those who collectively form the Neuro Rehabilitation team and the Spinal Injuries Centre Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Participate fully in the Trust's clinical Governance framework.
  • Participate in all clinical research and audit undertaken in the services.
  • Participate fully in the teaching of medical, nursing and paramedical professionals at all levels.
  • Undertake managerial and budgetary duties, as appropriate.
  • Contribute to rehabilitation surgical procedures as necessary.
  • Participate in the Local and regional meetings.
