About the Opportunity:

Burman Recruitment is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to become a vital part of our client's team in the educational technology sector. In this position, you will play a crucial role in validating the functionality, reliability, and performance of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Application Programming Interface (API) solutions. This is an excellent chance to make a significant impact in the realm of higher education technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive manual testing of software products, emphasizing SaaS and API solutions.
  • Create, document, and uphold test strategies, test scenarios, and testing scripts.
  • Detect, report, and monitor software bugs and discrepancies.
  • Employ Postman for API testing to verify endpoints, data accuracy, and system performance.
  • Work closely with development and quality assurance teams to comprehend requirements and offer insights on testability.
  • Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and system-wide testing.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in testing.

Qualifications:

  • ITSQB Certification (required).
  • Demonstrated experience in manual testing, especially with SaaS and API solutions.
  • Strong grasp of software development life cycles and methodologies.
  • Proficient in utilizing Postman for API testing.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems.
