About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote self-management and independence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in acute care or rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations.
