Company Overview:
Arch Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Financial Controller for a prominent manufacturing organization located in Coventry. This role entails collaboration within a compact finance team while providing essential support to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a small finance team, offering guidance and training as necessary.
  • Prepare management accounts with precision, adhering to strict internal reporting timelines.
  • Demonstrate expertise in statutory accounts preparation and group consolidations.
  • Assist in the creation of weekly Cash Flow Management reports.
  • Ensure adherence to VAT and Corporation Tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit group VAT returns.
  • Support the Finance Director in financial planning and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee credit control and cash collection processes.
  • Manage and process payroll on both a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external auditors.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks to assist the Finance Director.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and IT skills.
  • Highly organized and diligent.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus but not mandatory.
