MRI Technologist (Flexible Bank Position)

One Healthcare Partners Limited is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled MRI Technologist to become part of our supportive team on a flexible basis.

Please note: this is a Flexible Bank role requiring availability on an 'as needed' basis; you will be expected to assist in maintaining staffing levels during peak times and provide coverage for existing personnel during periods of leave or absence.

Reporting to the Diagnostic & Imaging Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, reviewing, and managing the service in accordance with evolving clinical practices, SCOR &/or HCPC standards, regulatory authority requirements, including CQC, insurance companies, and company policies and procedures.

MRI Technologist (Flexible Bank Position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a diverse range of MRI scans utilizing our advanced GE Signa Voyager 1.5 Tesla scanner.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and RCR guidelines to ensure a secure environment.
  • Engage in administrative tasks to facilitate the efficient operation of the department.
  • Assist with general radiography as needed and ensure compliance with IRMER regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional individualized patient care, being attentive to patients' needs for dignity and privacy.
  • Maintain the agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality in alignment with company policies.
  • Promote clinical excellence consistently.
  • Lead the execution of departmental action plans stemming from clinical audits and reviews.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment and independently as necessary.

Proven knowledge and expertise in the realm of clinical practice.

Experience in an imaging department with opportunities to enhance skills.

Commitment to promoting clinical excellence at all times.

Active involvement in the development and implementation of clinical governance and risk management strategies.

Optimize patient outcomes with available resources while adhering to regulatory and statutory requirements.

Where applicable, develop and implement action plans resulting from clinical audits and reviews.

Proactively support the health, safety, and well-being of team members, treating all employees fairly and with respect.

Ensure that training needs are identified and that training plans are established to meet individual, professional, and organizational requirements, aligning educational and professional development activities with the strategic direction of the hospital.

Encourage and promote the professional growth of all clinical staff.

Skills:

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Demonstrated customer service skills.

Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and web-based reporting systems PACS/RIS.

Strong written, numerical, and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience working in an imaging department within the private sector.

Membership in the SCOR.
