We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead our fabrication team in the development of a major Offshore Wind Farm project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of fabrication works, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement fabrication strategies and work scopes to meet project requirements.
- Lead the fabrication team to ensure delivery of high-quality products, on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Transport & Installation, and Operations, to optimize project execution.
- Manage and mitigate fabrication risks, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective quality control processes to ensure fabrication products meet prescribed standards.
- Provide assurance to the Package Manager that fabrication requirements are satisfied.
- Lead fabrication reviews and contribute to other functional reviews to ensure project delivery.
- CSWIP 3.2, IWI, IWE, or welding inspection equivalent.
- NACE 2, ICORR 2, or FROSIO Level 2 coating inspection.
- Relevant work experience in fabrication, preferably in the Offshore Wind Industry.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to fabrication in the specific industry.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
