Job Title: Assistant Principal Quality

Join the Education Authority as an Assistant Principal Quality, playing a key role in shaping the educational landscape of Northern Ireland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating the aims and objectives of the school, establishing policies, and monitoring progress towards their achievement. They will also undertake the professional duties of the principal in their absence.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement high-quality educational programs, ensuring all learners achieve their personal best.
  2. Lead the development of policies related to key strategic areas, aligned with the post.
  3. Collaborate with the Principal to plan pastoral care, staff deployment, and preparation for each new school year.
  4. Keep abreast of professional knowledge in relation to pastoral care, safeguarding, and child protection.
  5. Communicate and consult with parents, governors, and the Department of Education.
  6. Lead learning and teaching, developing the school in the community.
