Position Overview and Benefits

  • Salary range: £33,000 - £35,000
  • Company vehicle provided
  • Travel expenses covered from door to door
  • Standard working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (45-hour work week)
  • On-call duties: 1 in 4 Saturdays (initial payment of £50, plus a minimum of 4 hours at 1.5x rate if called out)
  • Opportunities for overtime available

The ideal candidate will possess experience in servicing and maintaining wastewater systems, including sewage treatment facilities, pumping stations, and rainwater harvesting setups. However, candidates with mechanical or electrical expertise within the water sector will also be considered.

This role is fully mobile, servicing both residential and commercial clients across various regions, with occasional travel beyond these areas.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the installation and/or maintenance of wastewater equipment, including sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and septic systems
  • Familiarity with wastewater system manufacturers such as Klargester, Marsh, WPL, and Tricel is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Electrical qualifications (17th/18th edition) are desirable but not essential
  • Certifications such as Confined Spaces and CSCS card are preferred; however, these can be provided if necessary
  • Must reside within a one-hour commute of the operational area
