Audit and Accounts Senior Role

Andy File Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. As a leading independent accounting practice, they offer a dynamic and challenging environment for professionals to grow and develop their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the business' Audit Managers and Partners in delivering high-quality audit services.
  • Planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Preparing annual statutory financial statements from a complete client trial balance, demonstrating expertise in financial reporting.
  • Reviewing and preparing corporate tax computations and returns, showcasing proficiency in tax compliance.
  • Taking primary responsibility for preparing and monitoring progress against budget, ensuring effective project management.
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing junior members of staff within audit teams, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Utilizing CCH Pro Audit for audit work and Digita for Financial Statements and Corporation Tax computations/returns, staying up-to-date with industry-leading tools.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal audit methodology and risk management, as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or SA equivalent), with experience in audit and financial reporting.
  • Audit experience with a medium-sized or large firm, with a preference for experience in charity or not-for-profit audits.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work remotely and engage with clients and team members effectively.
  • An enquiring approach to audits, with a willingness to challenge clients and demonstrate professional scepticism.
