As a Casual Airplay Station Youth Worker, you will be responsible for leading a team of youth workers to deliver engaging and interactive youth and play work sessions for children and young people aged 5-18.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of youth workers to deliver high-quality youth and play work sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings during term time.
  • Develop and implement a holiday program to meet the needs of the community, in collaboration with the Airplay staff team, young people, and local RAF Community Support team.
  • Work closely with the Airplay staff team to ensure seamless delivery of youth programs and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of youth programs and services that meet the needs of the community.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to young people, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people in a youth work or related setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement engaging youth programs and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
