Job Summary

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in a heavy industry setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal components for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow written and/or oral instructions from supervisors and engineers.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of proficiency in basic hand skills, including burning and chamfering of various gauges and types of plate and extrusions.
  • Accurately mark out sheet plate/extrusions for fabrication and installation.
  • Utilize grinders, saws, and other metalworking equipment to fabricate and shape sheet metal components.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Shipbuilding or heavy industry background required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to accurately read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
