Automation Test Engineer - Warrington

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic QA team in Warrington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the highest quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and enhance automated testing frameworks to ensure seamless integration with our software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to guarantee recent fixes and enhancements do not disrupt existing functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain automation tests within our existing BDD framework, leveraging your expertise in C#, Selenium, and Specflow.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Engage in static testing to identify errors, omissions, or ambiguities in acceptance criteria and requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our QA process by offering feedback and suggestions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Test Automation Engineer role or equivalent.
  • Strong C# coding ability and experience using and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Experience automating test cases using Selenium WebDriver & RestSharp.
  • Experience in manual testing (UAT/System/Regression) and Dev/QA collaboration to derive test cases/scenarios.
  • Good working knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS) and strong technical ability (Windows, DNS, Networking, Scripting).
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment and excellent knowledge of best practice testing techniques.
