Company Overview: Wild at Heart is a leading florist and event business in London, renowned for its exceptional floral designs and event production.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Floral Event Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for assisting the Creative Director in the planning and execution of weddings and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of weddings and events, including site visits, meetings with clients, and communication with vendors.
  • Develop and implement creative floral designs and concepts for weddings and events, working closely with the Creative Director and events team.
  • Manage event logistics, including flower buying, collection, and delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Collaborate with the events team to create initial flower and design concepts and mood boards for client proposals.
  • Assist in the creation of budgets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Manage a team of freelance florists per event.
  • Act as client liaison and support for the Creative Director and events team during events.
  • Pre-event preparation, including site visits and coordination with vendors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the events floristry industry.
  • Strong seasonal flower knowledge and care.
  • Creative background and a good eye for design.
  • Strong knowledge of event flower ordering on both small- and large-scale jobs.
  • Strong experience of small-scale work and larger floral mechanics for weddings and events installations with more bespoke designs.
  • Good understanding of floral design – ability to offer creative floral ideas for proposals/client briefs to support events team.
  • A flexible, patient, can-do approach.
  • A full, UK, manual, drivers license is essential.
