Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Setting out and surveying the site to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
  2. Implementing strategies in line with management's directives to achieve project goals.
  3. Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  4. Overseeing quality control and health and safety protocols on site to maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Obtaining permits and warrants as required to ensure project progress.
  6. Maintaining company quality procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in our work.
  7. Meeting project deadlines and budgets while ensuring the highest standards of quality.
  8. Mentoring and supporting junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
  9. Assisting the team with additional site engineering tasks as needed to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor.
  2. Experience in setting out for groundworks and infrastructure projects.
  3. Relevant civil engineering qualification (HND/C or Degree).
  4. CAD or ground modelling knowledge is desirable but not essential.
  5. Valid CSCS card and UK driving license.
