About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient maintenance of our services and surrounding areas.

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for designated ancillary staff and will ensure that the safety of the service and all equipment is effectively maintained through regular checks and servicing. This will include decorating, fixing, replacing, and clearing tasks to keep our premises looking great.

You will also oversee vehicle safety and effectively coordinate repairs undertaken by outside contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Previous experience in a relevant skill or similar role
  • Understanding of workplace safety principles
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in an appropriate skill (desirable)
  • Driving licence (where required)
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the service
