Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Assistant Manager to join our client's corporate and business taxation team. As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients, preparing income tax computations and personal tax returns, and handling various tax returns and statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients, providing tax planning and advisory services
  • Prepare income tax computations and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Handle P11D's, CIS, PSA's, and ERS returns, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Review statutory accounts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Communicate effectively with clients, managing the compliance process and providing exceptional customer service
  • Assist in training junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise

Requirements

  • CTA or ACA qualification, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • At least 3 years' experience in tax practice, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
