About the Role

The Commercial Litigation Partner position is an exciting opportunity to join a national Top 40 law firm in their highly regarded Commercial Litigation team.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Head of Department to develop and grow the existing work stream, nurture team members, and contribute to the growth of the department.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Commercial Litigator with a strong network of connections across Yorkshire, either a Senior Associate/Legal Director looking to make the step up to Partner or an existing Partner seeking a career change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Commercial Litigation Lawyers
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Commercial Litigation practice
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Commercial Litigation
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's Commercial Litigation team

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in Commercial Litigation from a regional or national firm
  • A strong network of connections across Yorkshire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and business development skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
