**About the Role**

AFR Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join our team in Blackburn. As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of accounts for our manufacturing and retail clients, providing support to our management accountants, and performing various accounting duties.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with the preparation of accounts for both the manufacturing and retail sides of the business
  • Provide support to the management accountants, including bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
  • Perform journal entries and various ad-hoc reporting on Excel
  • Conduct cash reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting duties within the management accounting team

As a Trainee Accountant with AFR Consulting, you will receive a comprehensive study package, including full ACCA or CIMA study support. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and gain hands-on experience in accounting.
