Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our client's team in Amersham. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for creating precision tools, dies, moulds, jigs, holding devices, and guides using 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manufacture precision tools and components using CAD software
  • Work from engineering drawings to create tool components
  • Operate lathes and milling machines to cut and shape parts
  • Use CNC machines to produce complex tool components
  • Perform precision measurements to check dimensions
  • Test and adjust completed tools to ensure desired finished product

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Toolmaker
  • Knowledge of injection moulding processes is an advantage
