As a Clinical Unit Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Promoting independence and dignity while enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.
- Supporting the delivery of improvements while driving quality standards to further improve efficiencies in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Ensuring a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment is provided for all residents, employees, and visitors to the home.
- Supporting the Home Manager and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience of managing a team and ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home.
- Experience in quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services.
- Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Able to maintain accurate documentation and resident records while incorporating the use of modern technology.
- Confident in overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
- Able to support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the regulatory guidelines.
- Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
- A glass half full person, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook.
