We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Digital Production team as a Digital Production Assistant within our Academic and Professional Division at Bloomsbury Publishing plc.

This exciting role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and provide essential support to the Digital Production team during a period of rapid expansion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Quality Assurance (QA) and uploading online content.
  • Assisting in the conversion of backlist titles to XML.
  • Responsible for completing invoicing payments.
  • Checking and preparing content for production.
  • QA and uploading of updated legislation onto websites.
  • Taking on administrative tasks to ensure speedy publication of our content.
  • Participation in any one-off projects where required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • XML knowledge is ideal but not essential.
  • Meticulous and thorough approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong proof-reading skills.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Able to build good relations inside and outside the immediate team and with our vendors.
  • Show enthusiasm and drive to complete tasks.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
