We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional physiotherapy services for children and adolescents with significant and intricate learning challenges.
The successful candidate will deliver a specialized physiotherapy service tailored to the needs of children and young individuals facing severe and complex difficulties, in alignment with our service commitments.
Main Responsibilities
The incumbent will:
- Deliver a high level of clinical expertise in pediatric physiotherapy.
- Manage a defined caseload of children and young people, ensuring effective service delivery through independent workload prioritization.
- Utilize clinical evaluations, interviews, and observational techniques to assess physiotherapy requirements and establish intervention goals.
- Communicate intricate assessment results and treatment strategies to clients, families, educational staff, and community professionals, addressing sensitive situations with empathy.
- Conduct assessments and treatments in various settings, including schools and homes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with educational personnel and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate records and provide comprehensive reports to referring agencies involved in the client's care.
- Contribute to the development of resources that empower families and educational institutions to manage the client’s condition effectively.
- Advise on physiotherapy programs and ensure proper training for clients, caregivers, and educational staff to facilitate ongoing treatment.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of the physiotherapy service, implementing effective care pathways and outcomes for children and young people.
