Experienced Quantity Surveyor Wanted for Residential Development

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Byfleet, working on projects in our South East region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire financial cycle of two to three contracts, from preparing anticipated build costs to procuring, paying, and evaluating subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the financial cycle of two to three contracts, including preparing anticipated build costs, procuring, paying, and evaluating subcontractors.
- Work with internal stakeholders from Construction and Procurement to the Managing Director, as well as external contractors and consultants, to agree trading terms and contract negotiations.
- Procure subcontractors, perform monthly valuations and payments, and provide cost forecasting and reporting.
- Assist in preparing construction budgets for approximately three developments concurrently.
- Background in Construction, with previous experience as a Surveyor, preferably in residential development.
- HNC or HND or similar qualification, and membership of a professional body, RICS or CIOB (desirable).
- Comfortable understanding architect drawings, specification documents, and relevant terminology.
- Commercially astute negotiator with experience in measuring drawings, tender analysis, and standard surveying techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with huge self-motivation and prioritization skills.
