Job Title: CNC Turner (Semi-Skilled)

Location: Rochdale area, with easy access to public transportation and free parking on-site.

Salary: £14.20 per hour, with opportunities to increase earnings through shift premiums.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team at a well-established manufacturing company in Rochdale. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and editing CNC turning machines to produce high-quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce metal components
  • Work with Mazatrol or Heidenhain programming languages to edit and modify existing programs
  • Ensure all components meet precise specifications and maintain high safety and quality standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders to determine machine setup requirements

Shift Patterns:

  • Weekly Rotating Shifts: Early Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Mon-Thu), Late Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Mon-Thu), and Flexible Shifts (Fri)
  • Permanent Day Shifts: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Mon-Thu), 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Fri)
  • Permanent Night Shift: 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Mon-Thu, Fridays off)
Requirements
