Your Mission

The Technical Lead for Data will be responsible for overseeing the technical execution of our data strategy, working closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and senior stakeholders to achieve our goals. You will also collaborate with our Head of Data to define and implement our data strategy, as well as take on line management responsibilities for a small team of data scientists and analysts.

Our data team is dedicated to solving complex analytical problems to drive business decisions and improve customer outcomes. As a key member of this team, you will work with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to collect, process, and analyze data to inform our business strategy.

What Impact You'll Have
  • Develop and implement our short- and long-term data strategy in collaboration with the Head of Data.
  • Clear a path to ensure the achievement of our data strategy and vision.
  • Lead the Data Intelligence product team, working closely with the Product Manager to drive day-to-day activities.
  • Manage data science, analytical, and engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Be a voice for data throughout the business, providing context and information to stakeholders.
  • Solve technical problems to ensure the team has the data they need, adhering to high standards for data privacy and security.
What You'll Have
  • Proven experience in data science and/or machine learning, including an understanding of fundamental technologies and processes.
  • Proven experience in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of data engineering principles and architecture.
  • Experience defining, building consensus, and advocating a data strategy.
  • Excellent internal communication skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-experts and commercial teams.
